(I have used it on a recurved composite but purists prefer sturgeon)
Soak it in water (start with 2.5 cups/100gr) until saturated, then slowly heat it in a double boiler.
Don't boil it!
Add saturated pearls or more water as necessary to get the consistency you wish -some water will boil off and the glue will thicken.
